Holding of Training Program “Professional Communication and Administrative Skills” for Women Journalists in Laghman Province

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO) to enhance the capacity of journalists in the country, a training program titled “Professional Communication and Administrative Skills” was conducted for women journalists in Laghman Province.
The program was designed and implemented in a structured and professional manner with the aim of strengthening the professional abilities of women journalists and improving the essential skills required in media working environments. The main focus of this workshop was on enhancing professional communication skills, principles of workplace interaction, and familiarization with essential administrative skills, all of which play an important role in improving the efficiency and quality of media-related activities.
During the program, participants were introduced to the fundamental concepts of professional communication, effective methods of workplace interaction, document and correspondence management, and the basic principles of organizing daily administrative tasks.
The Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization believes that empowering women journalists is one of the key priorities within the media sector, and similar training programs will also be implemented in other provinces of the country. It is emphasized that enhancing the professional capacity of journalists can play a significant role in improving the quality of media output, production, and programming, as well as strengthening the presence of women in media activities.
Participants of the program described such training courses as effective and necessary and called for the continuation and expansion of similar programs in the future. They stressed that such training can contribute to increasing self-confidence, improving professional skills, and strengthening the position of women journalists in the media workplace.
The Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO) is committed to continuing its training, capacity-building, and support programs in the future, with a special focus on journalists—particularly women—across the country.
