A coordination meeting between journalists and local officials was held in Zabul province

The meeting was organized by the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), in coordination with the Zabul Department of Information and Culture. The meeting was attended by Hedayatullah Nikzad, AJMSO’s regional representative, Mawlawi Ahmad Mukhtar, Director of Information and Culture in Zabul, Mawlawi Hikmatullah Mohsin, Head of Information, as well as a number of journalists and media representatives.
The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination among journalists and media outlets, discuss the challenges facing media activities, and improve communication between journalists and relevant government institutions. Participants shared their views and suggestions on the work of journalists and media outlets, timely access to and sharing of information, journalists’ professional challenges, and ways to better organize and support media activities.
Hedayatullah Nikzad, AJMSO’s provincial representative, said that the organization is working to further strengthen coordination between journalists and local officials and will continue working with relevant institutions to help address the challenges faced by journalists.

Mawlawi Ahmad Mukhtar, Director of Information and Culture in Zabul, also expressed his support for the work of journalists and media outlets and assured participants of continued cooperation and coordination with the media. He emphasized that sustained coordination among journalists, media outlets, and relevant institutions can help create better opportunities for the development and effectiveness of media activities across Zabul province.
