Meeting with Kunar’s New Information and Culture Director Focuses on Supporting Journalists and Media

Kunar, Afghanistan: Abdul Qudus Shams, Provincial Coordinator of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), met with Sami-ul-Haq Haq Bayan, the newly appointed Director of Information and Culture of Kunar Province.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation of journalists and local media outlets in Kunar, their challenges and needs, as well as ways to strengthen support and cooperation.
The AJMSO Provincial Coordinator provided an overview of media activities and the working conditions of journalists in Kunar and emphasized the importance of greater support for journalists and media outlets, improved coordination, and a stronger working environment for media professionals.
The meeting also focused on strengthening coordination between the Department of Information and Culture and local media outlets, as well as continuing joint efforts to address the challenges faced by journalists and media organizations.
