Representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization Meets with Officials of Faryab Information and Culture Department
The representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization met with Mawlawi Shamsullah Mohammadi, Head of the Information and Culture Department of Faryab Province, and Sayed Tawab Hashemi, Information Officer of the department.
During the meeting, Aminullah Alami, representing the organization, provided information about its objectives, structure, and work programs. He stated that the organization aims to strengthen coordination between journalists and relevant institutions, support media activities, defend the rights of media professionals, and provide training opportunities to enhance professional capacity.
In the meeting, both sides discussed ways to expand mutual cooperation and to create a suitable environment for media activities at the provincial level. They emphasized the importance of coordination between journalists and relevant institutions.
Mawlawi Shamsullah Mohammadi highlighted the important role of the media in raising public awareness and reflecting events, assuring that the Information and Culture Department will cooperate with the organization, journalists, and media outlets within the framework of existing principles and regulations.
The Information Officer also stressed the importance of cohesion among journalists and relevant institutions and expressed hope that such meetings would contribute to strengthening journalists’ capacities and improving the media situation in Faryab Province.
The Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization continuously strives to share journalists’ and media outlets’ concerns and suggestions with relevant authorities through appropriate channels and to seek suitable solutions for them.
