AJMSO Meets with Security Officials in Panjshir

Mohammad Nazir Danish, Capital Zone Representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO) in Panjshir Province, met with Mawlavi Awal Haqparast, Security Chief of the Panjshir Police Command, to discuss strengthening media activities and enhancing coordination between journalists, media outlets and local authorities.

During the meeting, Mohammad Nazir Danish described the media as one of the important pillars of society and stressed the need for stronger cooperation and coordination between journalists and relevant authorities. He also discussed the situation of journalists and media outlets in Panjshir, highlighting key challenges and concerns of the media community, including timely access to information and cooperation from security institutions in ensuring the physical safety of journalists.

Mawlavi Awal Haqparast, Security Chief of the Panjshir Police Command, acknowledged the important role of media in raising public awareness and promoting transparency in society. He assured that the security authorities would make every effort to improve the working conditions of journalists and media outlets and to strengthen cooperation with them.

AJMSO continues its efforts across Afghanistan to strengthen coordination between journalists and relevant authorities, enabling journalists and media outlets to carry out their professional work in a safe and secure environment.
