AJMSO Meets with the Spokesperson of the Parwan Governor

Mohammad Nazir Danish, Capital Zone Representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO) in Parwan province, met with Sayed Hikmatullah Shamim, spokesperson for the provincial governor, to discuss strengthening media activities and enhancing coordination between journalists, media outlets, and local authorities.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on effective ways to strengthen engagement between journalists and relevant authorities, assess the situation of local journalists and media outlets in Parwan, and identify and address the challenges and concerns faced by journalists.

Mohammad Nazir Danish raised some of the key challenges facing journalists and media outlets, including delays in accessing information and economic difficulties, with the spokesperson for the provincial governor.

Sayed Hikmatullah Shamim described the role of media in raising public awareness and promoting transparency in society as important and influential. He said that efforts to support the media sector in Parwan will continue.
