AJMSO Meets with the Deputy Governor of Kunar Province

Mr. Abdul Qadoos Shams, Provincial Representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), met with Mawlawi Abdullah Haqqani, Deputy Governor of Kunar Province, at his office.
During the meeting, comprehensive information was shared regarding the organization’s activities, objectives, and programs aimed at supporting journalists and media outlets. Discussions also focused on cooperation with journalists and media organizations, timely information sharing, and further strengthening the media environment in the province.
The Deputy Governor emphasized the important role of journalists and media in society and assured that the provincial administration would continue providing the necessary support to journalists and media organizations within the framework of applicable laws and regulations. He also pledged to facilitate access to information and ensure timely information sharing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of continued mutual cooperation, enhanced coordination, and joint efforts to further improve media activities and strengthen the media sector.
