Regular Meeting of the Media Complaints and Violations Commission Held

The regular meeting of the Media Complaints and Violations Commission was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister for Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the current state of the country’s media, and reports were presented on the progress of the commission’s work, as well as its decisions and achievements over the past month. Emphasis was placed on further follow-up of issues related to media affairs.
The meeting also addressed several specific cases, including a dispute over an employment contract between a media outlet and its former employee, a complaint regarding a violation by a YouTube channel, and the incorrect use of the name of one of the country’s borders by a number of local media outlets and some government institutions. Necessary decisions were adopted to resolve each of these cases.
