Meeting of the Head of Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization with Female Journalists in Herat

Abdul Qadeem Wyar, Head of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), met with a number of female journalists in Herat province during his visit to the region.
During the meeting, female journalists shared their professional challenges and concerns, discussing limitations on access to information, the current state of media work, as well as their demands and needs. They called for greater cooperation from supporting organizations to improve the working conditions of journalists, particularly female journalists.
The Head of AJMSO praised the efforts and contributions of female journalists in Herat and pledged to share their concerns with relevant institutions and work toward finding practical solutions. He also emphasized the importance of improving access to information and creating a more supportive environment for media activities.
Furthermore, he promised that the organization would support capacity-building initiatives for female journalists through training and support programs, enabling them to continue their media work with greater confidence and professional skills.
Female journalists welcomed and appreciated AJMSO’s attention and support for journalists and media workers.
