Meeting of AJMSO Provincial Representative with the Director of Information and Culture of Laghman Province

The provincial representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), Atiqullah Quraishi, held an introductory meeting with the Director of Information and Culture of Laghman, Mawlawi Abdul Noor Rasooli.
At the beginning of the meeting, detailed information was presented about the activities, objectives, and upcoming programs of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO).
The provincial representative emphasized AJMSO’s commitment to enhancing journalists’ capacity, strengthening media outlets, and providing accurate and reliable information to the public. He also requested the cooperation of the Directorate of Information and Culture in achieving these goals.
Mawlawi Abdul Noor Rasooli expressed his appreciation for the organization’s initiative and assured his full support and cooperation. He stated that the Directorate of Information and Culture welcomes media and cultural institutions and remains committed to supporting them.
Furthermore, the Director of Information and Culture of Laghman called for financial support for media outlets in the province and stressed the importance of organizing training programs aimed at capacity building and professional development of journalists and spokespersons.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue their joint cooperation and to work towards facilitating journalists’ access to information.
