Visit of AJMSO to Several Media Outlets in Zabul

Hedayatullah Nikzad, the provincial representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), visited several private radio stations in Zabul province.
During the visit, he held discussions with media officials regarding media activities, available facilities, and the ongoing work process.
Nikzad described media activities as important for public awareness and for conveying the voice of the people, and assured media representatives of continued support, cooperation, and efforts to address journalists’ challenges.
The radio station officials also welcomed the visit by AJMSO and expressed hope that such meetings and visits would have positive outcomes in strengthening the media and supporting journalists.
The Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization continues to conduct close visits and meetings with media outlets across the country in order to assess the media working environment and the situation of access to information, as well as to identify challenges and work toward solutions.
