A joint meeting between journalists and government officials was held in Parwan province

The meeting took place in the provincial office hall of Parwan, attended by the governor of Parwan, the head of Information and Culture, a number of media officials, journalists, and press officers from government departments.
Mohammad Nazir Danish, representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization, shared the existing challenges in the field of information dissemination and journalism in the province with the officials and called for greater cooperation from local administrations.
Sheikh Azizurrahman Mnsoor, the governor of Parwan, appreciated the work of the media in the province and stated that the presence of media and timely, impartial information dissemination are among the serious needs of society. He assured his support for media outlets and journalists.
Meanwhile, Shamsulhaq Sediqi, the head of Information and Culture in Parwan, also emphasized the mission and responsibilities of journalists and media, welcomed the meeting, and stressed the need to address the problems faced by journalists and media, adding that serious attention would be given to existing issues.
