Head of Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization Visits Local Media in Kapisa

 Abdul Qadeem Wyar, Head of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), visited a number of local media outlets in Kapisa province and met with journalists and media workers.
During the visit, Mr. Wyar described media work and access to information as essential needs of society, emphasizing the important role media play in public awareness, education, and social enlightenment. He highlighted the critical contribution of journalists in delivering accurate and responsible information to the public.
Commending the efforts of local media in Kapisa, the Head of AJMSO stated:
“Media work represents a valuable effort by the educated and informed segment of society, aimed at sharing timely and accurate information with the public.”
Mr. Wyar also noted that local media are the most effective means of communication in local languages and dialects, and stressed their vital role in preserving local cultures and strengthening social cohesion.
At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Wyar reaffirmed the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization’s continued support for local media and journalists.
