Meeting of the Provincial Representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization with Officials in Bamyan Province

Zaman Ali Adeeb, the provincial representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO) in Bamyan Province, met with Mawlawi Mustafa Saleh, Head of Information and Culture of Bamyan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Zaman Ali Adeeb provided a comprehensive introduction to the organization and explained its objectives, missions, and activities aimed at providing legal and professional support to journalists and media outlets. He emphasized that the organization operates with the goal of defending freedom of expression, ensuring journalists’ occupational safety, and strengthening the role of media in society.
The AJMSO provincial representative also stressed the right of access to information as one of the fundamental principles of media work, stating that mutual cooperation between media institutions and government bodies can contribute to transparency, accountability, and increased public trust.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Mustafa Saleh, Head of Information and Culture of Bamyan, welcomed the introduction of the organization’s provincial representative and highlighted the important role of journalists and media in providing accurate information and raising public awareness. He assured that the Directorate of Information and Culture of Bamyan, within the framework of relevant principles and procedures, would maintain ongoing cooperation with journalists and media outlets in the province. He also pledged necessary support regarding access to information and media activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized expanding joint cooperation and supporting the professional activities of journalists in Bamyan Province.
