Head of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization Meets with Kandahar’s Director of Information and Culture
Abdul Qadeem Wyar, Head of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization, met and held discussions with Inamullah Samangani, Director of Information and Culture of Kandahar Province.During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the current situation of media outlets and journalists in Kandahar. Key topics included, access to information, economic challenges faced by media organizations, and capacity-building programs for journalists.
Mr. Wyar emphasized the importance of supporting media institutions, facilitating journalists’ ofessional activities, and establishing effective mechanisms to ensure access to formation.Meanwhile, the Director of Information and Culture of Kandahar assured continued cooperation with journalists and media outlets, stating that efforts would persist to improve coordination, address existing challenges, and enhance journalists’ capacities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continuing such engagements and joint cooperation to improve the media environment and promote responsible and professional information dissemination in Kandahar Province.
