AJMSO’s Meeting with the Director of Information and Culture of Ghor Province

Abdul Ghan "Sediqi," the provincial representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), in a meeting with the Director of Information and Culture of Ghor Province, while presenting information about the organization’s activities, emphasized its key role in defending journalists’ rights, enhancing professional capacities, and creating a safe working environment for journalists in the province. He also pointed to the challenges faced by media outlets and journalists and called for greater cooperation from the Directorate of Information and Culture to address these issues.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Abdul Hai “Zaeem,” the Director of Information and Culture of Ghor Province, welcomed and appreciated the activities of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization, describing the role of media as vital for cultural and social development as well as public awareness. He assured that the department is ready to provide full cooperation in supporting media and journalists.
At the end of the meeting, both sides emphasized the continuation of such meetings, strengthening coordination, and making efforts to improve the working conditions of journalists in Ghor, in order to better facilitate professional media activities.
