Visit to Journalist Injured in Recent Laghman Earthquake

Nangarhar – Tuesday, April 7
representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization in Nangarhar visited and checked on the health condition of Hamesha Gul Rahimzi, a journalist injured in the recent earthquake in Laghman province.
Rahimzi, an employee of Zyar Radio in Laghman, sustained a broken leg during the earthquake last Friday evening. He is currently receiving medical treatment at the Nangarhar Regional Hospital.
Hamesha Gul Rahimzi expressed his gratitude for the visit and support provided by the AJMSO and voiced hope for continued assistance in his treatment and recovery.
Mr. Faghirzai assured him that the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization is ready to provide all possible support within its capacity.
He further emphasized that the organization remains committed to supporting Afghan journalists and media and will stand by them under all circumstances.
