The leadership of AJMSO met with Pajhwok Afghan News Agency. During this meeting, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, Director of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization, discussed the challenges facing the country’s media—particularly financial difficulties—with Abdul Qadeer Monsef, Editor-in-Chief of Pajhwok News Agency.
Both sides emphasized the necessity of attention from the government and international organizations toward providing financial and technical support to the Afghan media. They also considered the survival of existing media outlets inside the country as a serious need of society, especially in terms of raising public awareness.
