AJMSO Meeting with the Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Kunar Province

Abdul Qadoos Shams, Provincial representative of the Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization (AJMSO), met with the Head of the Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Kunar Province.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on facilitating timely and accurate access to information, establishing mechanisms for hearing and addressing journalists’ concerns, as well as assessing existing media challenges and identifying solutions. Mr. Shams provided information about the organization’s activities, objectives, and achievements, and called for expanded cooperation in supporting media and journalists.
The Head of the Department emphasized the important role of media in good governance and stressed that cooperation with journalists and media outlets will be further strengthened and expanded. He also appreciated AJMSO’s activities and expressed commitment to continuing coordination and joint work with the organization.
The Afghan Journalists and Media Support Organization strives to strengthen relationships between journalists and governmental and non-governmental institutions through such meetings, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
